If you love looking for unique and beautifully designed homeware, then Fornasetti is a brand familiar to you. Founded by Pietro Fornasetti in 1913, the brand is known for their black and white decorative art that are heavily influenced by classical and ancient Roman periods. For Louis Vuitton’s Fall-Winter 2021 collection, Nicolas Ghesquière took inspiration from Fornasetti’s designs, making it a collaboration to talk about.
Presented during the Paris Fashion Week, the virtual runway show was staged in the Michaelangelo Daru Galleries of the Louvre museum. Surrounded by ancient art and Roman statues and sculptures, Louis Vuitton showcased their LV x Fornasetti capsule collection that featured ready-to-wear pieces, bags, and shoes.
