Patricia Santos is a fashion and bridal designer beloved by countless women for their unabashedly feminine and romantic aesthetic. Among the notable personalities in her formidable client list are actresses Jessy Mendiola and Julia Barretto.
A warrior in her own right
Wearing one of her designs makes a woman feel strong, beautiful, and elegant. Just ask actress Kim Chiu, who donned a memorable ballgown to the starry Star Magic Ball. Patricia herself has become an influencer in her own right, thanks to her celebrity-like good looks and a dreamy lifestyle shared on her social media. From having her own fairytale wedding to hanging out with the who’s who in society and show business, and regularly attending exclusive fetes, Patricia’s life looks just about as good as it gets.
Unbeknownst to many, Patricia has weathered many challenges in her life and career, including a bout with cancer. “[Power is] overcoming life’s challenges and creating the life of your dreams,” says the creative. And that’s exactly what she did—and continues to do to this day. Having undergone a process of pain and suffering, she is able to hold her head up high, wearing her stunning mane of hair as a stunning crown that helps her radiate positivity and her undeniable beauty.
Authenticity is key
Patricia is aware of the negative effects of social media. Too often, people see idealized, aspirational images. This can warp a person’s sense of happiness and success—of what it means to be a woman in this day and age. Patricia believes that women have to realize that everyone has a different journey, and each one must embrace their own and focus on becoming the best versions of ourselves. She adds, “[We must become] better than who we were yesterday, [and inspire] people to embrace their flaws and live an authentic life.” She does this herself, embracing her genuine self and the whole of her experience.
