This time around, she is trying not just one, but a number of trends as seen on runway looks from fashion houses. In 2 Good 2 Be True’s final media conference, Kathryn dons a sporty-chic sartorial assembly. With the help of her stylists Boop and Kimi Yap, she was seen wearing a personally-owned letterman jacket, a Rob Ortega skirt, and a pair of Valentino sky high heels.
In an exclusive interview with Boop Yap, she shared, “We have been styling Kath for eight years, and we pretty much get each other in terms of what we know [would work]. It’s always been an easy process because Kath is always game to try new looks—that’s why her style has evolved over the years.”
As a longtime stylist of celebrities like Kris Aquino and Erich Gonzales, Boop sees styling as a collaborative process. “You are there to share ideas on what you think will look best and complement your client, but you also need to listen to your client’s ideas. And at the end of the day, a client must feel comfortable and confident in their clothing.”
