Ahead of BTS member Jin’s upcoming military enlistment, the rising star shared a photo on Weverse, showing off his shaved hair. He also shared his thoughts on his new look in the caption, saying it looked cuter than he expected. It did not take long for the photo to go viral on Twitter. People quickly saw that despite revealing a look far from his usual, the K-Pop star still looked dashing with short hair.
The management previously announced BTS’ upcoming military service starting with Jin, the group’s oldest member. Per reports, Jin is set to enlist on December 13, 2022, leaving his fans emotional as ever.
According to a South Korean news agency, “The Astronaut’s” famed singer will enter a training facility in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do, to complete a five-week training. Then, he will be assigned to the front-line military unit, where he will serve his duty for 18 months.

Meanwhile, BigHit Music issued a statement regarding tomorrow’s enlistment. They have also requested fans and media to not visit the training facility on the day of his recruitment as they will not be holding any official event to give way for military personnel and families during the entrance ceremony, as well as to prevent any circumstances that might lead to an uncontrolled crowd.
Fans of BTS continue to send their heartwarming words of support and farewell for Jin on Twitter as “WE LOVE YOU JIN” and “seokjin” remain on the platform’s trending list.
