Liza Soberano gets a regal transformation on the chair of Filipino makeup guru and YouTuber PatrickStarrr with some casual q-and-a on the side
Actress Liza Soberano is no stranger to the life of a beauty queen. In 2017, she portrayed Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach in an episode of Maaalala Mo Kaya entitled “Korona.” And time, she gets a different kind of queenly experience from none other than makeup guru and YouTube sensation PatrickStarrr.
The look
Patrick opted for a strong smokey eye look for Liza with a light inner corner makeup, adding more definition to her eyes. Meanwhile, for her cheeks, the makeup brand owner extended the blush application near her eyes to emphasize Liza’s cheekbones. The nude choice for her lips kept the whole look balanced, and the shades Patrick used made Liza look “more Pinay.”
The q-and-a
While having their makeup session, Patrick and Liza had their own question and answer portion about the latter’s big move to LA. According to the actress, it was a decision that she hasn’t announced yet to the public—until the release of the video.
“There’s just so many in-person meetings and being in another country made it too difficult to talk to people,” she honestly said. Meanwhile, Patrick also asked her of her plans for her career. “I want to be a world class actress,” she said humbly but with an air of determination in her voice.
She further explained that her decision was also influenced by veering away from the popular concept of a love team in the country. “I want to be known as just Liza, because for so long, I was in a love team.”
The actress also teased her fans about her future plans and training sessions that she has been doing for them, which includes vocal and acting lessons. When asked about her music style as a future artist, Liza said, “It’s like K-Pop, but edgier,” she spilled.
