These Spin Classes are Upping the Fun Factor in Working Out

If you want every workout session to feel like a party, join any of these spin classes online or in-studio

Day-to-day exercises can be a slog to get through, but spin classes never are. For one thing, moderate to intense indoor cycling is great for weight loss and improving your overall health and endurance. Secondly, spin classes never get boring when you have a trainer cheering you on, and upbeat workout songs playing in the background. Not only that, but as with any group session, spin classes never get lonely when you see others going through the same thing as you.

If these benefits interest you, we’ve compiled a list of seven highly-rated gyms offering weekly guided spin classes below. Notably, all fitness levels are welcome, and many of these spin classes offer online alternatives if you can’t make it to their studios around Metro Manila.

Saddle Row

At PowerPlant Mall in Makati City, you can find Saddle Row, a boutique fitness studio dedicated to cycling and rowing. You can participate in their Ride, Row, or Realign classes live in-studio or through Zoom, or take it at your own pace through Video-on-Demand. In particular, they have three indoor cycling classes: the exchange, resistance, and underground. The first is a pure cycling workout, the second incorporates resistance bands to work the upper body and core, and the third is a self-described cardio-heavy dance party on wheels.

Electric Studio

Electric Studio is the first indoor cycling boutique in the Philippines to offer a full-body fitness experience, with classes in riding, boxing, and cross-training. With studios in BGC, Podium, and Alabang, you can attend their spin classes live online, in-studio, or through Video-on-Demand. There are five different levels to the cycling experience at Electric Studio, one of which is the 45-minute Pure Electric wherein you get to experience full-body movements, music, and free weights. If you’re up for the challenge, you can also opt for the 60-minute Electric Endurance for double the intensity.

Ride Revolution

Likewise, Ride Revolution has studios in Greenbelt, Makati and Shangri-La, Mandaluyong, and has classes available online, in-studio, and on-demand. Ride Revolution also has an app to access their livestreams and studio-recorded indoor cycling, HIIT, and Yoga classes. Notably, their signature 45-minute spin classes are beat-based and high-intensity, but are easy to stay engaged with due to the dynamic choreographies and music.

Manila Padel Club

Located in BGC is Manila Padel Club, the first-ever outdoor gym in the Philippines. Here, you can join the outdoor spin classes headed by professional athlete Nylah Bautista to build cardio, strength, and endurance through sprinting, climbing, and sweating to music. You can catch her classes every Sunday and Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., and Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.

Cyclehouse Manila

Rave Studio

Rave Cycle is a 50-minute indoor cycling class that provides a full-body low-impact workout. Rave Studio is committed to giving the best workout experience through effective high-intensity workouts, dance party-like environments, focused instructors with small class sizes, and affordable rave passes.
