Did ZO Skin Health products ensure my skin stayed healthy after a lazer skin treatment? Let’s find out
After every skincare treatment comes the after-care routine. A couple weeks ago, I was given the pleasure of undergoing Belo’s ADVALight treatment, a skin treatment that combats oiliness, acne and acne scars, wrinkles, fine lines, and hyperpigmentation. Not only was I curious to try it out for the first time, but I was also excited given that my combination-to-oily skin that’s also prone to breakouts was the perfect target for the treatment. But apart from the treatment itself, I knew that I still had to take care of my skin afterwards, which is where ZO Skin Health comes in.

ZO Skin Health consists of products like cleansers, serums, toners, exfoliators, and even pads. Since I already have a set of non-negotiable products for my skincare routine, I was hesitant to give these a shot in case they would actually make my skin worse instead of better. However, one can never really know what works for their skin without trying—so I did.
As recommended by Dr. Louise from the Belo Medical Group, I only tried some products from the ZO Skin Health line a few days after ADVALight to let my skin breathe on its own post-treatment. Once I thought my skin was ready, the first product I tried was their Gentle Cleanser for all skin types. While I would normally go for a cleanser that was suited for my combination skin, the one I used definitely lived up to its name—gentle. It didn’t irritate my skin at all, and even if I dislike the feeling of intense hydration since my skin does tend to get oily throughout the day, it provided just the right amount that made my skin look and feel refreshed.
Afterwards, I gave their Retinol Skin Brightener a shot. I’ve only heard great things about Retinol so far, so I was excited to notice that after just a few days of consistent application, my skin looked more even, and my post-acne marks definitely weren’t as dark as they normally were even if waiting time usually takes weeks! Apart from that, I also decided to try the Oil Control Pads, which immediately removed all the excess oil on my skin, leaving me looking stunned in front of the mirror. As someone who prefers matte over dewy skin, this product was a dream come true.
I’ve yet to use other products from the ZO Skin Health line, but I’m definitely looking forward to seeing more positive results in the days and weeks to come.
