“We’d like to be the Starbucks for artists where there is space for everyone to meet up, connect, create art, [and] share ideas. It’s a safe space and everyone is welcome to linger for free.”

Being hailed as the “Starbucks for Artists”, this sanctuary is beautifully designed by Cecil Ravelas, making it into a cozy space that feels like home. Each side of the space is warm, engaging, and friendly—aiming to exude an optimistic culture to the creative community.

The vision of Art Caravan led by Francis Lim all started with clients sending photos of their works to the team. With this, the innovative members of Art Caravan are driven to continuously inspire artists by unleashing their creativity to the world. Thus, the birth of an impressive collection of artworks on its Instagram and Facebook spaces.

Now that the height of the pandemic is behind us, the 128 square-meter space of the Art Caravan is finally brightly lit, bringing the art experience to people from all walks of life. As guests step into the space, they will immediately be greeted by the inviting shelves housing a wide range of premium, hard-to-find art supplies. Moreover, the open creative workshop towards the back of the location offers a room where artists can work and collaborate, including communal tables for contemplation and group brainstorming sessions. It’s a space where creativity knows no bounds, and where artists can come together to support each other in their respective crafts.

Among the first to utilize the space were members of the Philippine Guild of Watercolorists. They held their first art tambay event in the space where the group created stunning works of art that demonstrated the power of artistry and collaboration.

Since then Art Caravan has hosted a diverse range of activities such as demos by the Philippine Pastel Association, private sessions for Chinese painting, and mandala art workshops. These events not only provide an avenue for artists to showcase their skills but also bring people together, fostering a sense of community in the industry.
