Heart Evangelista is no stranger to making a fashion statement wherever she goes, and last year’s GMA Thanksgiving Gala was no exception
The actress, artist, and style icon has been dazzling the world with her impeccable taste and creative collaborations for years. But at the GMA Thanksgiving Gala, a celebration of the 72nd anniversary of GMA Network, Heart took her glamour game to a whole new level.
The event, held last July 30, 2022 at Shangri-La The Fort, had an Old Hollywood theme that challenged the Kapuso stars to dress in their best black-and-white and sparkly ensembles. Heart, who attended the event with husband Senator Chiz Escudero, did not disappoint and was even hailed as the Glamorous Star of the Night.

Heart wore two different outfits from Ashi Studio, a Paris-based haute couture brand known for its dramatic and sculptural designs. Her first outfit was a black gown with dramatic puff sleeves and long fringes that cascaded down her arms and back. The gown also featured a plunging neckline and a low back detail that added some sexiness to the look. The gown was a custom design that was inspired by the brand’s looks from its Fall 2021 Couture collection.
Heart accessorized her look with dazzling jewelry from Bvlgari. She wore a Serpenti necklace in 18-karat white gold and pavé diamonds that wrapped around her neck like a snake. She also wore Diva’s Dream earrings in white gold, diamonds, and sapphires, and a B.Zero1 bracelet in white gold and pavé diamonds. Her shoes were a pair of platform-sole sandals from Giuseppe Zanotti.
But Heart was not done yet. After the red carpet, she changed into a more comfortable outfit for the event proper. This time, she wore a black ensemble with a button-down top and shorts, leaning more towards the simpler side, yet keeping everything chic. The top had large sleeves that extended to the floor, creating a cape-like effect, while the shorts were fitted and showed off her legs. She kept her jewelry and shoes the same for both outfits. Her second outfit was a playful and sleek contrast to her first one, showcasing her versatility and personality as a fashion lover.
