From Greek gods and goddesses to characters from well-known tales, guests came in ensembles that combined stories from the past with contemporary elements. That being said, we listed down those that came in sultry yet divine costumes that undoubtedly captivated the eyes of many.
Celeste Cortesi
The beauty queen is no stranger to extreme allure. This time around, Celeste personified her name by arriving in a custom Anthony Ramirez piece done in white and crystal embellishments, while the cutouts were cleverly draped across her torso. The cherry on top of her look was the matching headpiece and bangles designed by John Capito that had leaf-like moldings and feathers for a celestial detail.
Chie Filomeno
The classic Greek mythology character, Medusa, was brought to life by Chie Filomeno, and it was spot on in every angle. Designed by Job Dacon, her two-piece attire consisted of a black bustier decorated with a gold snake wrapped around her neck, and the black mermaid tail skirt had a high-shine material. Meanwhile, the actress paid tribute to Medusa’s iconic snakes for hair by wearing a gold headdress that had tiny reptiles crawling.
Kylie Verzosa
Aquarius, represented by the water bearer, paid a visit to the ball through Kylie Verzosa with her custom JustBonita piece. The all-white look had a sheer material as its base, whereas a roped up material cascaded down the beauty queen’s figure, making her look like an ethereal water creature. For the little details, the former beauty queen had on a dainty headpiece that blended naturally with her wavy hair.
Solenn Heussaff
The actress honored her role in Encantadia back in 2016 by wearing a Cassiopeia-inspired piece. The purple-hued outfit was definitely one of the most daring looks because of its alluring cutouts around her bust and torso. Compared to the others, the material had a high-shine finish and it was also used for the matching cape.
Pam Prinster
This goddess visits during spring time, but made an exception for the ball. Dressed as Persephone, Pam Prinster brought the goddess to life by wearing an alluring piece that had pink and cream roses placed on top of a pair of shimmering silver intimates. A pink tail was attached to the bottom, and a floral headdress was added to emphasize the graceful aura of Persephone.
Rhian Ramos
The actress went back to the classic adventure movie franchise Lord of the Rings by going as Arwen, Queen of the Elves. She was able to capture the character’s graceful aura through the use of green, but designer Manny Halasan gave it a new look because of the ultra-sultry details like the sheer material and the deep neckline.
Jessica Yang
Another celestial being was referenced last night as Jessica Yang arrived as a pink alien. The model painted her skin pink and it definitely elevated the simplistic silver coordinates she wore. As for her accessories, she went for a minimalist direction with her halo headdress and gold bangles.
Issa Pressman
The goddess of spring goes back to her beloved during the winter season and it’s when she becomes the queen of the underworld. Persephone’s darker alternative was personified by Issa Pressman with her all-black costume that included a lace bodice and shawl that went around her arms. She then added little details like the sheer black stockings and intricate headdress to elevate the overall look.
