McGrath’s mind-bending creativity recently reached virality. In the Maison Margiela Spring/Summer 2024 show, models were transformed into living porcelain dolls as McGrath’s team created an otherworldly combination of hyperreal, futuristic-looking glaze skin, a painterly wash of color on the eyes, and a touch of doll-like blusher.

Crafting makeup looks reminiscent of the cabaret days, Mcgrath is known for reintroducing beauty theatrics in the runway
