A once-in-a-lifetime photo and video shoot was held to celebrate the joyous wins of these kumu personalities
When we’re given the chance to secure a big and unthinkable prize of a lifetime, we do our very best to make sure everything goes in our favor to win. And that’s exactly what kumu streamers Fana Lagueras, Jordan Andrews, Nicole Gonzales, and Olga Buenaventura did. By streaming their hearts out on the proudly local social entertainment app, they proved that they had what it took to be a part of the incredibly desired MEGA Experience that featured an eccentric and urban photoshoot, a behind the scenes video shoot, as well as a special one-on-one interview.
Create and connect
Since its launch in 2018, kumu has grown into a big world for all kinds of creatives. It initially gained popularity by being a platform for Filipino streamers, but has now expanded its content with their own wide range of game shows such as Game KNB? and Quiz Mo Ko that users can always take part in, as well as partnerships with widely known television shows like Pinoy Big Brother.

After the entire campaign duration the streamers had to join to win, it was Fana Lagueras who came out on top. Revealing that she’s not used to doing photo shoots amid joining reality shows like The Voice Teens and Idol Philippines, the singer and performer completely wowed us as she released her inner Dangerous Woman with all her fierce looks and power poses. Even Fana herself was shocked by how the photos turned out, which only proves there’s a passionate stunner inside her.
Throughout the entire production, it also seemed that the self-proclaimed introvert came out of her shell pretty quickly by chatting with the different kumu streamers that she only met during that day. Fana shared how, through kumu, she was able to create new friends that became family, and that she was still able to share her talents and become an inspiration to all the aspiring singers out there.
Spotlight-ready
The only man that was part of this MEGA Experience was Jordan Andrews, a musical theater performer and Pinoy Big Brother ex-housemate. Immediately upon arriving at the venue, Jordan already showered us with his vibrant and bubbly personality by greeting everyone with his bright smile.
As someone who has been performing all his life, Jordan explained it was through kumu that he was able to release his creative juices throughout lockdown, adding, “Kumu was the platform for me to perform.” After about a year of streaming, he grew a wide fan base, which helped him in joining this once-in-a-lifetime shoot that he considers a great privilege and honor. This is why he made the most out of it by showing us what he’s got in front of the camera.
Out and about
The last two kumu streamers who completed the roster for the latest MEGA Experience were Nicole Gonzalez and Olga Buenaventura.
Unlike the rest, Nicole has only been part of kumu for just a few months, but that didn’t stop her from taking advantage of the whole production to prove that she’s a star on the rise. Everyone’s favorite madaldal kulot streamer shared that she joined kumu just to have fun and connect with people. Little did she know, it would open a lot of doors for her to bring happiness to people’s lives in her own way. And with her optimism and wit, she’ll definitely go far.
Meanwhile, Olga, who considered the whole experience as a break from reality, was excited that she finally got to interact with her fellow kumu streamers in person. This goal-getter mentioned that even if she’s a private person, she still decided to grab every opportunity to help out her family, which she has done through kumu. While she started using the app without the intention of streaming, she eventually took it upon herself to share various content, and the rest is history.
Without a doubt, the MEGA Experience with kumu streamers Fana, Jordan, Nicole, and Olga was one that is sure to be relived over and over again.
