Before the first month of the year ends, Francine Diaz turned a new page in her life as she turned 20. Relishing her teen years but reaching the point of adulthood, the actress is a living proof that you can take the time to fully appreciate your adulthood. As she welcomes her twenties with a bang, she caught up with MEGA Entertainment to give us an update on Francine 2.0.

Singing as part of her agenda
On her actual birthday, the actress finally confirmed that she and South Korean singer-actor Seo In-guk have collaborated in a single called “My Love.” According to the tandem, they changed the rap part to Francine’s verse in the track. Seo made his acting breakthrough in 2012 when he starred in Reply 1997. Since then, he continued his acting and singing career, appearing in a number of television and web series as well as making more music.
As for the 20-year-old actress, she is more determined to hone her vocal skill. “More singing lessons pa to build my confidence,” she mentioned.
Taking charge of the steering wheel
In her past vlogs, Diaz had expressed her desire to get behind the wheel and drive from Pampanga to Los Angeles. On her trip to the US, she even tried to drive a Rolls Royce vehicle to test her motor skills!
Now that she is 20, she’s giving herself a chance to take more charge of things, including a wheel of her own. When asked what she’s looking forward to this year, she happily expressed, “Mag-roadtrip kasi I got my first car na. So, yeah. Siguro ‘yun pa lang naiisip ko kasi isa ‘yun sa mga niloolook forward kong birthday ko is really my first car.”
As for the details of her own, new ride, we should probably watch out her vlog for that one.
Finding the good in giving and taking
Her newest collaboration with Seo In-guk begs the inevitable question—Is she stepping outside her tandem with Seth Fedelin? Here’s the answer straight from Francine herself. “Open naman po talaga ako to work with other leading men, with other actors pero it doesn’t mean na hindi ko vinavalue ‘yung tandem namin ni Seth. I am still grateful and I appreciate the love na binibigay ng fans namin pero ganun din naman ako with Seth. If he wants to explore more, kasi syempre dun kami mag-grow sa craft namin, siguro as a person din, why not?”
In his birthday greeting for the actress, Seth did not just write a heartfelt caption for Francine. He even shared a snippet of a song that he composed for her. Whether their relationship is purely platonic or developing into something more, one thing’s for sure. They truly genuinely care and trust each other.
